The Patissier Summer Camp is a camp for young budding pastry chefs to become familiar with the pastry arts...and love it! The Summer Pastry Chef Program is for kids ages 13-15 years old. Classes will be held in the professional kitchens at Tastemakers DC in the Brookland neighborhood of Washington, DC.
This is a 2-day camp.
Day one is Thursday, August 8th 10:30am-2:30pm.
Day two is Saturday, August 10th 11:00am-3:00pm.
Ticket price includes both days and a $50 registration fee.
Tart Doughs - Sucree
Students will learn to apply several techniques for making pate sucree from scratch. Students will also be introduced to how to make petit fours using sucree dough.
