Introduction to Wine Class

  • Tastemakers 2800 10th Street Northeast Washington, DC, 20017 United States (map)

Don't know what tannins are? Wondering what it really means for a wine to be full-bodied? Generally feel like you're winging it when you order wine at a restaurant or buy wine from the store? You're not alone. And, now there's a solution.

Join Ashwin, Founder of Personal Sommelier DC, in the Introduction to Wine class where you will learn the fundamentals of tasting and buying wine. We will cover the major grape varietals, both white and red, and begin to get an understanding of how to evaluate wine.

Yes, you will be drinking wine during the class ;) Come early and get some delicious food from Tastemakers' food hall(and make sure to bring your ID, since participants must be 21 or older)!

See you there!
